14-year-old girl kidnapped while returning from school, gang-raped in Lucknow

A 14-year-old girl was gang-raped by two men in Lucknow on Monday. According to the complaint lodged by the girl’s father, the accused, Danish and Ameen, allegedly kidnapped the survivor in a car while she was going to school. They then took her to a hotel in Krishna Nagar area in Lucknow, where they gang-raped her.
They snatched her bag and dragged her inside the car, following which they drove to a hotel in the Krishna Nagar area.
The accused also recorded obscene pictures and videos of the survivor and threatened her that they would upload the video on social media if the girl mentioned the incident to anyone.
Both of them then drove her back and pushed her out of the car near her house. She then mentioned the incident to her father, who lodged a complaint at the Sarojini Nagar Police Station.
Lucknow South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police Keshav Kumar said that a case has been registered based on the father’s complaint and one of the accused has been arrested.
The police have also recovered CCTV footage from the hotel and further investigation is on.
